Jette is working on...Posted by Jette 13 Dec, 2008 16:52

Jette is working on...

having her first class based on her new book Feathered Friends.

The class will take place at the very nice shop Textilia in Lidköping, Sweden.

www.textilia.se

Jette and Marie Hellbergh (founder and owner of Textilia, who has lived a number of years in the USA) are both very happy and excited to be able to offer the oportunity for other quilters to learn more about paper piecing and Jette's special pieces of art.

More information will very soon be available on the homepage of Textilia and under "Classes/kurser" on this blog..

Above you can see Marie and Jette, Friday 12 Dec. 2008, preparing and discussing how to make the class on 7 th of Feb. 2009 as nice and interesting as possible.

A few of the originals from Jette's book are seen on the photos and are right now displayed in the shop of Textilia.

CLASS.

Saturday 7 th of Feb. 2009 I had a very fun day in Lidköbing at Textilia - www.textilia.se -

10 sweet and laughtering students wanted to learn more about paperpiecing birds. They all made a blackbird, and I learned more about "ad-a-quarter ruler", thanks to Marie.

Thanks to all of you, not least to Marie, who made it easy, despite of the small language problem. smiley

Below you can see photos from the class.

smiley "I would rather like a westie pattern!!

"It is not an eagle, but OK". smiley

"How sweet you are, little blackbird". smiley

"You are not allowed to cheat".smiley

"I´m nearly finished".smiley

"It is so easy. You can do it with a broken arm".smiley

"Just work on it" smiley

"Be quiet now, we are working". smiley

Surviving. smiley
